How it works. A procedural band plays a 3-minute song with intro / verse / chorus / bridge sections. Play the chord cleanly each bar and the arrangement builds up — bass, then pad, Rhodes comp, full kit. Miss bars and the band breaks down. Mid-song, the band drops out for a YOUR TURN — vamp freely, they slam back in.
Strum however feels right. The band has its own pulse — you just need the bar's chord ringing somewhere in it. Timing and strum direction aren't graded.
