Get in tune.
Play one string at a time — FretRoom hears your guitar and shows which way to turn each peg.

How to tune
- Somewhere quiet
Fans, TV, and chatter make your strings harder to hear.
- Hear the note
Tap any peg to play the note its string should match.
- One at a time
Play a single string and let it ring out.
- Read the dial
Needle left of centre is flat, right is sharp.
- Small turns
Tighten to raise the pitch, loosen to lower — a quarter-turn at a time.
- Don't over-tighten
Winding far past the note is how strings snap.
- Tune up to it
Finish by tuning up into the note — it holds better.
